Former Amazon CEO Adam Broda has stirred debate over work culture in multinational corporations, with a particular emphasis on the demanding schedules of Indian employees. In a LinkedIn article, Brodia reflected on his time at Amazon and shared his insights of the Bengaluru-based technical staff.
Broda also released an infographic highlighting the countries with the longest work hours. India tops the list, according to the chart. They would be online when I signed in at 7 a.m., attend staff meetings at 10 a.m., and even participate in VP-level reviews in the afternoon. “I’d sometimes see them in meetings at 3 a.m. in Bengaluru,” he said, adding that he was impressed by their energy and passion.
