Tejashwi Prasad Yadav became the Rashtriya Janata Dal’s (RJD) chief ministerial face at the party’s national executive conference in Patna on Saturday. Bihar attending to the polls earlier this year.
The RJD also passed a resolution giving Tejashwi permission to change the party name and symbol putting him on equal footing with his father and RJD founder Lalu Prasad in the party hierarchy, letting the two to make any important party decisions. Tejashwi ji was crucial for improving the party’s total from 23 for 2010 towards 81 five years later and obtaining 75 members in the 2020 Assembly election periods.
