Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025 list featured some of the most well-known figures from throughout the globe, from Tesla CEO Elon Musk to US President Donald Trump. However, given previous appearances, it was surprise that no Indian was included in Time Magazine’s list this year. Among the few Indians to make the list in 2024 were Olympian wrestler Sakshi Malik and Bollywood star Alia Bhatt. Among other categories, the magazine’s annual list is separated into \’Leaders\’, \’Icons\’, and \’Titans\’. However, this year’s “Leaders” list does have Reshma Kewalramani, the CEO of Vertex Pharmaceuticals, who is of Indian descent. She became the first female CEO of a major, publicly traded biotechnology company in the United States after immigrating from India at the age of eleven.
